Adrian Collins

Adrian Collins runs Grimdark Magazine and loves anything to do with telling darker stories. Doesn't matter the format, or when it was published or produced--just give him a grim story told in a dark world by a morally grey protagonist and this bloke's in his happy place. Add in a barrel aged stout to sip on after a cheeky body surf under the Australian sun, and that's his heaven.

Where The Black Prism was a bit slow to kick off and sometimes got bogged down in explaining the magic system, The Blinding Knife floors the accelerator from the starting line. Before you get...

Brent Week’s The Black Prism is an enjoyable kick-off to the Lightbringer series. Those who love an in-depth and original magic system, coupled with politics and religion are really going to get a kick...

Rogues edited by George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozois

Review: Rogues edited by George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozois

Once again George R.R. Martin and Gardner Dozois have done a fantastic job in gathering stories from some of the biggest names in fantasy and science fiction. The characters are consistently grey. The stories...
